MAUI MOMENTS

Maui Moments

Oh, I have slipped, unseen, to paradise on tradewinds wild and free.  Rested on an Island of a demi-god...Maui.  The grey whale was my brother...  Dolphins were my friends...took treasure from King Neptune...feared when the day would end.  My love became the people...brown skin and tender heart...eyes as windows of their souls...we have touched...though worlds apart.  I have climbed volcanic mountain..." Haleakala...House of the Sun"...dreamed above the crater...prayed, as tears did run.  Oh, I have slipped, unseen, to paradise...feasted on fish and poi...touched God in Maui Moments....Maui...no ka oi...

Love

Would that I could fine love...hidden in the boundless sea or mystery...or search amoung the ruins of the aztec...or the jungle amoung the mighty trees.  But love will evade you if you seek it.  It will dance away from your grasp as a whirlwind...it will laugh gaily in your face as the tears fall from your weary eyes.

There is no power stronger than love...it will shake the very essence of your soul.  It will turn you around...lift you up...put you down...it will fulfill you...than...with the milk of human kindness...it will kill you...and you will die...willingly!
